Another Tulip

Thank you to everyone for the positive comments on yesteday's tulips. I couldn't resist posting one more today.

Yesterday's was straight out of the camera with no editing or cropping at all. I was rather pleased. I played with it a little bit, but kept going back to the original. On this one, I adjusted the tones just a bit to get the deep rich colors rather than the soft dreamy effect that yesterday's image had.

And to answer a couple of the questions, yes it was taken with my Canon Macro 100 2.8 lens. I don't know why the camera info didn't show, but sometime I have issues with not getting all of the icons to pop up when I'm looking for info on people's photos as well.

And yes, Hillary. I am back into the 40D saddle. The one that is out for repairs is not back yet, but I went ahead and gutted up to replace the DReb. I've needed to do that anyway, so now at least I will have a quick and reliable backup and can soon shoot two different lenses without having to stop and remount in the field.

Shot these in my studio with straight window light. No flash. The black background is a pillowcase.
