Ran out of Light

So I left before the ball game ended to go home and have dinner with my family. So glad I turned around on the way to the car.

There has to be something pithy to say about a bucket full of well-used baseballs, but I don't know what it would be. Maybe it's just late and my brain is turned off. Still, I love this shot for a computer wallpaper or background art.

Baseball . . . Bubblegum . . . Batter Up!

Never Ever Boring.

Thirsty Boys

Even though this was the visiting team and one of our arch-rivals, I LOVED the red uniforms with the Coca Cola sign. This was right after the Freshman/Sophomore game on Friday afternoon. Just getting into my pp for the game today.

ALMOST an unwise decision.

This runner tried to steal second base, but had to return to first and barely made it. Beautiful Saturday morning for baseball today, and the visiting team came all the way from Hawaii to play in Texas. I'm sorry they beat us, but still hope they have a good and memorable trip.

This was my first time to shoot high school baseball. Like other sports, I've always just enjoyed hanging out and watching the crowd, enjoying the atmosphere . . . but the games really are more fun when you pay attention to the action.

Hubby came with me and whispered in my ear to help me learn how to anticipate plays. We make a pretty good team, him and me. I think I'll keep him.
