A Foreign Visitor

Roberto (Bob for short) the Bobwhite Quail made a visit to our back yard. He seemed to enjoy hanging out with the doves who are regulars at the feeder, and they didn't appear to mind sharing. This is our first noted visit from a quail.

Shot through a dirty window, so by viewing large, you might be able to identify puppy tongue prints.

It's officially summer on Planet My Back Yard. Come on in. The water's fine.

This is my first planet ever, and I sure had fun making it. It is mostly water! Note that the plumeria has been retrieved. So far it's still green.

Ulysses stops by for quick snack.

Gail, does your book include Texas woodpeckers? (EDIT -- Oops! It was Andrea that got the bird book as a recent gift. My error)
