How do you make a family look like a Rock Band?

Just delivered some prints and my client chose an enlargement of this pose. We played with a little color reduction and then printed on metallic paper. The colors absolutely popped! It was fabulous and she was thrilled!

Winner Cleans Up

We've always had a game-playing rule at our house where the winner had to clean up after a board game. It took away a little bit of the sting for those who didn't win.

This weekend 80% of our kids came home to celebrate Christmas, and late is certainly better than never! We played a fun little game called L-R-C. It involves rolling dice and passing dollar bills to the left, right, or center where they stay in a pot. The last person holding any money wins everything in the pot. It was all Parent money, so nobody lost. Nathan won and Ian got to dump the pot of dollar bills on his head.

Naturally I had the camera ready to snap away.

Mi Tierra Never Closes

This famous restaurant has been serving up Tex-Mex dishes for locals and visitors since 1941. No trip to the city would be complete without at least one Mi Tierra meal. For us, it was breakfast underneath this famous mural.

What a way to kick off a new year -- a new decade. This day finds us in San Antonio for the Alamo Bowl football game between Texas Tech and Michigan State. But first, a walk by the river and lunch at Casa Rio.
