This gallery is a melange of my photographic styles as well as a look into my daily life. I try to capture something new every day or else to find something that fits the day. It's a great excuse to carry my camera with me more often than not, and it allows me to stop and take those pictures that need to be taken.

This morning I went to a memorial/commital service for a friend who died last month. Today was to have been her 31st wedding anniversary, and she was reunited with her husband at Houston's National Veterans' Cemetery.
After the service, I spent a little time walking and taking pictures. A gray sky, brown grass, multiple construction projects, and the last remaining artificial Christmas flowers made it a challenge to get any of the pristine images I had anticipated.
