This gallery is a melange of my photography styles as well as a glimpse into my daily life. It's also part of a delightfully fun Daily Photo community that has introduced me to photo-friends all over the US and in some foreign countries as well.
For years I would see something and say, "That would make a great picture." Now with this project, I have an excuse to stop and take more of those pictures. Please add your comments and let me know what you like and don't like, vote for your favorites with the thumbs up and thumbs down icon, and add suggestions for next time.
I welcome you to my world -- one shutter click at a time.

I don't know who this kid is,but this photo is a tribute to the ORIGINAL Number 28 of Taylor Lacrosse -- JETLAX! It wasn't that long ago (summer 2002) when Nathan and his friends, Trevor and James, were horsing around in the cul-de-sac with a $5.00 toy I had picked up at Target. They learned how to play by reading a book, recruited a WONDERFUL coach who is still with the team, and started something that is now huge in Katy. A new subdivision out here even advertises its lacrosse fields as a big draw! We actually met a family that relocated from Connecticut and chose their home specifically because of the lacrosse fields.
They have lighted scoreboards and everything! We remember using
borrowed uniforms and looking a little worse than the Bad News Bears! We barely had enough boys to field all the positions, and most of them had to play the whole game because we didn't have any subs.
